Ifeanyi Ubah's new gaffer Mitko Dobrev has asked about the availability of Kotoko’s Burkinabe import Sogne Yacouba as he seeks to add to his squad in the ongoing Nigerian Premier League season, footballghana.com can exclusively reveal.
Dobrev who previously handled Ghanaian Premier League side Accra Hearts of Oak was appointed as the new coach of the Anambra-State club on Monday and has already set his sights on the highly rated Kotoko attacker.
footballghana.com learned that contacts have already been made with the player and his representatives. They will however not accept anything less than $120,000 as signing on fee if the player should join them.
Yacouba currently has barely two weeks left on his contract with the Porcupine Warriors and he is bent on leaving as talks between the two parties have broken down thrice since December.
He is on the radar of a host of teams including Zesco United, Al Hilal and Orlando Pirates.
