Ghana international, Alexander Djiku is set to leave French Ligue 1 outfit Racing Strasbourg in the summer transfer window, footballghana can exclusively report.

In the last two seasons at Strasbourg, the Black Stars asset has established himself as a top man not only in the heart of the defense for his club but as one of the best centre-backs in the French top-flight league.

Before the end of the 2021/22 football season, he was regarded as one of the top defenders in the top-flight league where he received a lot of plaudits.

Following a successful end to the season, Alexander Djiku is not only turning his attention to Black Stars duties but his future as well.

In an interview with DNA, Strasbourg President Marc Keller disclosed that the club is ready to sanction the transfer of the Ghana defender.

“For Ludo as for Alex, we are in a waiting position. If they have to leave, they will naturally be replaced. It's part of the life of a club,” the club president said on Alexander Djiku and Ludovic Ajorque.

Alexander Djiku, 27, is not only wanted by top French Ligue 1 clubs but a number of teams in the major European clubs looking to bolster their squad for the next football season.
