Gyasi was born in Italy and slowly earned his stripes as a key player for Spezia during their quest for promotion last season.
In an interview, he revealed his eagerness to play for Ghana.
"I try to give my best for the team and to get the result. If the call-up to the national team arrives, I'll be happy. The Ghanaian one obviously," he told Sky Sports.

Ghana will play their next qualifying match in March and Gyasi will hope to make the squad.
