EXCLUSIVE: Kwadwo Asamoah to miss Inter Milan’s clash against Barcelona tonight

Published on: 10 December 2019

Footballgahana.com can exclusively report that Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah will not be available for Inter Milan when they welcome FC Barcelona to the San Siro in the Uefa Champions League later tonight.

The left-back who strives when deployed in midfield has been battling with a knee injury in the last two months but managed to return over the weekend when the Nerazzurri hosted AS Roma.

After playing 18 minutes in that match, Asamoah’s knee problem has returned leaving him to seek for immediate medical attention and treatment to solve the problem.

In line with that, he has been ruled out of today’s crucial game in the Uefa Champions League where his Inter Milan side will be yearning to get the result over Barcelona.

The Black Stars asset has been key for Conte since the start of the ongoing campaign but due to his injury setback, he has only been able to play two matches since October 20.

He is now set to spend time on the sidelines to have the recurring knee problem corrected.
