EXCLUSIVE: Maxwell Konadu refuses to return car to Kotoko, demands payment of his salary

Former Black Stars assistant coach, Maxwell Konadu, has informed Kotoko that he will not return the car given to him by the club and has demanded the payment of his entitlements, footballghana.com can exclusively report.

The experienced tactician was sacked by the Porcupines on 17th December 2020 after a run of poor results.

According to Konadu, he is entitled to $60,000 in compensation for the unilateral termination of his contract.

He also demanded the remainder of his sign-on fee of GHS 30,000 and GHS 2,000 winning bonuses, and ultimately, $36,000 which is the remainder of his contract with the club.

In return, Kotoko asked for him to return a Toyota Fortuna gifted to him but footballghana.com understands than Konadu has expressly told the club that he will not return the car until his entitlements are paid to him.
