Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila has been included in Ghana's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations squad.

Sumaila is making a return to the team after nearly two-years of missing out- the last time he played for Ghana was prior to the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The former Asante Kotoko defender who now plays his club football for Al Gharafa has been phenomenal for the Quatari side since joining them on loan from Qadsia SC.

Sumaila has been undefeated with the side since joining them winning five matches and drawing two.
