The referees assigned with officiating the Ghana Premier League are currently pushing for a meeting with the Ghana Football Association over money owed to them, footballghana.com can exclusively report.
The referees received payment for the first four matchdays in the Ghana Premier League but have not received any money since then, causing a huge dissatisfaction among the officials.
The league has gone through 15 game weeks which makes the deficit span through 11 game weeks for the referees.
The competition is currently going through a suspension due to the directive of President Nana Akuffo Addo on the ban of all social gatherings as the country continues its fight with coronavirus.
The officials are looking for their debts to be settled before the league resumes.
