Ghana midfielder, Thomas Partey will miss Atletico Madrid Champions League clash with RB Leipzig due to injury, Footballghana.com can confirm.
The 27-year-old sustained a thigh muscle injury in their game against Real Sociedad over the weekend.
Atleti will play away to the Bundesliga outfit in the quarterfinals of the Champions League at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium on August 13, 2020.
Partey would be a major casualty since he is one of Simeone's untouchables in the core. He played a vital role in their Round of 16 return game against Liverpool at Anfield.
He has played 46 games this year, scoring four goals and giving an assist.
Partey remains a top target for Arsenal this summer. He has 50 million euro clause.
