Premier League returnees, Norwich City and Serie A side, Udinese Calcio are in the race to sign Kevin Prince Boateng, Footballghana.com understands.

The 33-year-old joined Serie B side, AZ Monza last summer.

Boateng signed a one year deal with the club with an option of renewal should Monza secure Serie A promotion.

Monza are now playing playoffs for promotion to the Italian top-flight.

However, Monza lost their first semifinal game against Cittadella with the second leg expected to be staged at the Stadio Brianteo on Thursday.

The former Ghana international joined Monza from Fiorentina after ending his loan deal with Besiktas but expected to leave the club should they fail to secure a promotion.

However, Udinese who are in search of experienced players to build a good side for next season have identified the former Tottenham Hotspur as a good option.

But Norwich who have returned to the Premier League have also identified Boateng as a good option and will help them maintain their Premier League status.

Boateng has scored 5 goals and 4 assists for AZ Monza.
