Spanish Lower Division side Extremadura UD has shared that Ghanaian international Emmanuel Lomotey will not be leaving the club in the winter transfer window despite high interest from Cordoba.

The midfielder has been a transfer target of the Cordoba since the January Transfer Window opened as they try to reinforce their squad for the ongoing season.

In the latest development, however, footballghana.com understands that Extremadura UD is not ready to let the play go and has decided to let him stay put.

Emmanuel Lomotey has been on the good side of Coach Manuel Mosquera who now sees him as an important player for his club.
