FA YOUTH CUP: Chelsea hammer Man City to make it four in a row

Published on: 26 April 2017

Chelsea have won the FA Youth Cup for the fourth successive season.

The Blues U18 side dominated Manchester City in the second leg of the final to win 5-1, allowing them to clinch the cup with a 6-2 aggregate triumph.

Goals from Trevoh Chalobah and Ike Ugbe got things off to the perfect start for Chelsea before Lukas Nmecha pulled one back for City early in the second half.

But Jody Morris' boys flexed their muscle with Callum Hudson-Odoi, Dujon Sterling and Cole Dasilva all firing home to give them an emphatic second-leg win at Stamford Bridge.

The West London club can now add the 2017 FA Youth Cup to the recent 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016 victories, making it five in the past six years, and eight overall.
