The Portuguese tactician was appointed as the head coach of the club when Kenichi Yatshuhatshi was shown the exit door by the management of the club.

After 12 matches played in the second round of the Ghana Premier League, Sergio have been able to win only three, lost one and have drawn eight with 42 points at the 4th position with only three matches to end the season.

“I watch Sergio in the President Cup against Kotoko and I can say that he is not a coach but he only tries to dramatize on the touchline.” Al Wahab told Asempa Sports

“The management have to admit that they had it wrong when they sacked Kenichi because no serious club will sack their club in the middle of the season. The management and the board always try to justify that the style of play has changed but no match commissioner will record the style of play of the team in his or her report so they should sit down and solve the problem because it a big disgrace to the club.”

Accra Hearts of Oak will now play Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Match Day 27 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
