Hearts of Oak National Chapters Committee chairman Elvis Herman Hesse Jnr has slammed outgoing captain Fatawu Mohamed for his negative comments against the club.

The experienced defender has been released by Hearts of Oak after years of captaining the Phobians.

Despite having a year contract left with the Phobians, he has been asked to leave the club after 10-years of service.

The defender who led the Phobians to end their trophy drought in an interview with Sports Obama TV made some damning revelations about the club.

The 30-year-old went in hard at the management of the club, insisting he was surviving 'hand-to-mouth' on his wages at Hearts of Oak.

Reacting to the former RTU players comment, Elvis Herman said, “Fatawu’s comments were unfortunate. I have called him and made it clear to him that he was unprofessional and have asked him to apologize. Speaking to him, he has regretted everything he said.

“I’m pleading with the Hearts fans to forgive him sincerely” he told Oyerepa FM.
