Ghanaian international Zuberu Sharani has been named in the Slovak top-flight league ‘Team of the Week’ for his outstanding performance for his FC DAC side against MŠK Žilina last weekend.
In what was a Matchday 26 fixture of the 2019/2020 football season, the striker was left on the bench at the start of the game.
Following a goalless first half, his manager introduced him at the break to replace Panama attacker César Blackman.
Zuberu Sharani took his chance as he put up an eye-catching performance to steer his team to victory against MŠK Žilina.
The former Dreams FC star scored on the 58th minute to give his team the lead before Zsolt Kalmár added a second from the penalty spot later in the game to ensure FC DAC bagged all the 3 points at the end of the game.
In choosing the top performers for Matchday 26, Zuberu Sharani has been selected to lead the Team of the Week.
