Portuguese giants FC Porto are set to loan Ghanaian attacker Majeed Waris pending on the signing of Tunisian star Wahbi Khazri.
Waris, 26, arrived from FC Lorient last January, penning a four deal with the Blue and Whites.
However, he would not be in the plans of Portuguese coach Sergio Conceicao for the upcoming season.
According to media reports, the former FC Lorient player could indeed make a return to Ligue 1 this summer.
Currently, AS Saint-Etienne are frontrunners for the signature of the maverick forward.
Majeed made five appearances for the Dragons but was impressive in his outings.
He was influential for the Portuguese outfit in their goalless drawn game against UEFA Champions League finalists Liverpool at Anfield.
