The Ghanaian is set to join the Premier League new comers Brighton and Hove Albion, after the two parties had agreed terms early this week.

The 21 year old’s move is subject to a medical, a work permit and international clearance.

The player has played only half of the season for the Swiss side, scoring 12 goals to help them return to the top flight but the player has always had dreams of playing in the English Premier League.

Zurich’s boss Ancillo Canepa insists he could not stall the move because it was the players dream to play in England.

"From a sporting point of view, we regret this change very much. But we wanted to meet Raphael Dwamena's dream of playing in the Premier League,” he said.

The former Austria Lestanau striker made his International debut for Ghana in June where he scored a brace in the Black Stars 5-0 thrashing of Ethiopia.
