Asante Kotoko Captain, Felix Annan has pleaded with supporters of the club as well as his teammates to continue playing their roles well as the club dreams of a place in the league stage of the 2019/20 CAF Champions League.
According to the Goalkeeper there was more to be achieved by the players and for the fans hence the need for the club’s followers not to give up on the players as they work hard to achieve the best result.
The eloquent skipper made said this moment after he led the Porcupines to beat Etoile du Sahel 2-0 in Kumasi last Sunday. Annan acknowledged the massive support, saying that, such support always propels them to do well.
"These fans are always unbelievable and it is never a surprise to me because I know how passionate the fans are when it comes to the team. We're glad for the support we get and that is what drives the team forward."
"When we come to the stadium and see all 40,000 of them, I tell my colleagues that, we can't disappoint those gathered here and the [millions of fans worldwide]. This is Asante Kotoko and this is why we fight for this club and we thank them always. For us, players, we will give [our best] to them and they should not give up on us".
