Having completed his transfer to Hull City on Thursday, July 2, 2020, Ghanaian defender Festus Arthur says he cannot wait to get started at his new club.

Yesterday, a club statement from the English Championship side announced that the German-born defender has been signed from National League side Stockport County on a 3-year contract.

Coming into a club with a lot of history and memories of playing in the English Premier League, Festus Arthur has shared his delight to work with the Tigers.

“I’m very happy to be a Hull City player. It’s something that’s been going on for a while now and I’m just excited to finally join the club.

“I’ve had a good chat with the gaffer and I like him as a person. I’m looking forward to working with him and getting to know my new team-mates. I just can’t wait to get going”, the center-back told the official website of Hull City.

In the past season, Festus Arthur hugely impressed with Stockport County in the National League after scoring 2 goals in as many as 32 appearances.

Now preparing to begin a new chapter of his football career at Hull City, the 20-year-old says he cannot wait to get started.

“Really happy to have signed for Hull City. Excited for the times ahead, can’t wait to get started!!”, Festus Arthur posted on his Twitter page.
