Feyenoord have opened preliminary talks with Ludogorets over a €4 million swoop for Ghana forward Bernard Tekeptey.

The 15 Eredivisie champions have made their move for the 24-year-old as they attempt to make a statement signing of the summer transfer window.

Feyenoord have identified Tekeptey as a replacement for Colombian Luis Sinistera, who is set to leave the club in the coming weeks.

His strong performances in recent months have impressed the Rotterdam club and are keen on acquiring his services before the start of the new season.

According to the reports, Ludogorets would agree to sell the forward for 4 million euros.

Tekpetey scored 10 goals and provided eight assists for Ludogorets in the 2021/22 season as they clinched the league title and also qualifying for the Champions League playoffs.

He joined the Bulgarian side from Schalke 04 in 2021.
