The National Division One League Clubs will be sharing a sum of $360,000 as their share of the FIFA and CAF Relief Fund received by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

In the wake of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic which has rocked every part of the world, clubs in the West African country are suffering financially.

To help Member Associations, the Federation of International Football and the Confederation of Africa Football has extended financial support to help mitigate the financial burdens in the midst of the Covid-19.

In total, the Ghana FA has benefited $1.8 million dollars from both footballs governing bodies. In disbursing that amount of money to its subsidiaries, the GFA has decided to give the Division One League clubs a sum of $360,000.

Each club in the division in that regard will receive $7,5000 as their share. This comes as a big relief to players playing in the division who have reportedly not been paid for months by their clubs in the time of the Covid-19.
