FIFA gives SAFA 10 days to appeal protest verdict

FIFA have given the South African Football Association a maximum of 10 days to appeal their decision to dismiss earlier protests.

South Africa sent some protests to FIFA after losing 1-0 to the Black Stars at the Cape Coast Stadium in a World Cup qualification decider.

After days of deliberation on the matter, FIFA dismissed the protest, citing the evidence provided on manipulation as 'inadmissible'.

It is unclear as to whether South Africa will appeal this decision. But, it has been reported that the governing body will seek further clarification from FIFA on the matter.

South Africa will miss the 2021 AFCON after failing to qualify.
