FIFA President to grace CAF annual awards

The Confederation of African Football  (CAF) has released the full list of candidates for the confederation's annual awards ceremony which will occur on 7 January 2020 at Albatros Citadel Sahl Hashish Resort in Hurghada.

The African Union is organizing this ceremony for the first time in Egypt in partnership with businessman Kamel Abu Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the group Albik Albros Hotel to celebrate the African players and officials who excelled in 2019.

The list of candidates selected by a select group of media professionals and technical experts includes several categories of awards for the best player.

They include: Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Young Player of the Year, National Team of the Year, Goal of the Year, Top 11 in Africa, Union of the Year and new award categories to recognize exceptional contributions to African football and inspiring personalities.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino, CAF President Ahmed Ahmed and a group of African football stars and legends are expected to attend.
