FIFA U-20 WWC: GFA General Secretary Addo assures Black Princesses of maximum support

The General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Prosper Harrison Addo (Esq.) has promised the Black Princesses of maximum support ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The Princesses booked a ticket to their sixth consecutive global showpiece after 5-1 aggregate win over Ethiopia.

The 2022 edition of the biennial tournament is scheduled to be staged in Costa Rica from Wednesday, 10th August, to Sunday, 28th August 2022.

"We will do our part as an Association to support you to bring glory to the country. We know there are few things that need to be done before the World Cup," Harrsion Addo said as quoted by ghanafa.org.

"We know they will resume campaign soon to keep them in shape for the tournament so you can always count on the Association for the maximum support."

The draw for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup 2022 is scheduled in San José on 5th May 2022.

The Black Princesses will resume camping at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence on Monday, May 2, with 40 players expected in to report to camp.
