Fiorentina midfielder K.P Boateng elated with win over AC Milan

Ghana and Fiorentina midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng has expressed his happiness after his side defeated AC Milan 3-1 in the Serie A on Sunday.

The 32-year-old climbed off the bench in the 84th minute to help the Purples seal a convincing away victory at the San Siro.

After the game, he took to his personal Twitter handle and expressed his delight and hailing his performance of his team.

"Great Fiorentina at San Siro, a great team victory! For me it is always exciting to return to this stadium, thanks to all the fans for the affection," he tweeted after the game.

Eric Pulgar opened the scoring for the visitors in the 14th minute through a spot-kick to send Vincenzo Montella's side into the break with the lead.

Gaetano Castrovilli doubled Fiorentina's in the 66th minute before former Bayern Munich winger Frank Ribery made it 3-0 with a fine strike in the 78th minute.

Milan pulled one back through Rafael Laeo but had to play most of the game with ten men after Mateo Musacchio was red-carded in the 55th minute.

Boateng was replaced Fredrico Chiesa in the 84th minute as the visitors secured the maximum points.

He has made five appearances and scored one goal for Fiorentina so far in the 2019/20 season.
