Sporting Director for ACF Fiorentina, Daniele Pradè has expressed optimism in Alfred Duncan to help the side in their quest to improve their position on the standings of the Italian Serie A.

The Florence-based club endured a difficult start to the season as they struggle to stay in fine form in the first round. At some point, the Viola battled relegation before a recent show of good form has powered the side into mid-table.

In the winter transfer window, ACF Fiorentina jumped into the market where they secured the signing of some players including Ghanaian international Alfred Duncan who was brought in on loan from Sassuolo.

At his unveiling to the Italian Media today, Sporting Director for his new team Daniele Pradè said: “Duncan is the last one to be presented, and this is because he isn't one just for the future, he is one for the present. We want to do well, now. He has great Serie A experience”.

He believes Duncan has the quality to help Fiorentina not only for the short term but for the long term as well.
