The versatile player has been on the sidelines since April when he sustained an injury while playing against Manchester City.

He missed the opening match of the English Premier League but has now returned to full fitness.

During Palace’s narrow defeat to Sheffield United on Sunday, the 26-year-old was introduced in the second half to replace German international Max Meyer.

Having been the better side as far as attack is concerned, Sheffield United took a deserved lead on the 47th minute through John Lundstram. That solitary strike was enough to hand the newly promoted side all three points at the end of the 90 minutes.

Jeffery Schlupp will be hoping for more playing time in the subsequent matches. They face Manchester United next weekend at Old Trafford.
