FC Phonix Lubeck is dreaming of the final again. The regional league club travels confidently to the state cup semi-finals at TSB Flensburg.
“We are happy and want to do it. Our goal is known, ”says coach Daniel Safadi. "It's an incredibly unpleasant team with lots of good footballers!"
Nothing is left to chance with the eagles. Co-trainer Danny Cornelius watched Flensburg's 2-1 last-minute win in the quarter-finals against VfB Lubeck. It's an incredibly uncomfortable team with a lot of good footballers who can fight,” explains Safadi.
After a weekend without training, the players of Lubeck prepared intensively in two training units for the guest appearance on the Danish border.
Midfielder Kusi Kwame is ready for action again and it is a positive for Lubeck. "If Kusi can start painlessly, he will play too," says Salomon.
