Football will return with all safety protocols in place - GFA boss Kurt Okraku assures

President of the Ghana Football Association [GFA] has pledged that football will return with all the safety protocols in place.

This comes after the H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo lifted the ban on contact sports during his 17th address.

the speech, the president announced the Ghana Premier League and the Division One Football League will start on Friday, 30th October.

With the league being suspended since March 15th, teams and players have been desperate for the return of the league.

According to Mr Okraku, all safety protocols will be in place before the 2020/21 football season finally starts.

"We are happy football is finally coming back," he said.

"We as an association will make sure we put in place all safety protocols before the season start.

"It is our product and were determined to keep it safe," he added.

25 per cent spectators would be allowed to watch the game from the stadium when football finally resume in October.
