Elimina Sharks are on the verge of completing a transfer for Ashgold attacker Fredrick Quayson.
Sources cloe to the player indicate that he has held lengthy negotiations with the newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side ahead of a possible move.
Sharks coach Kobina Amissah recently stated that his club were in the hunt for players with premiership experience and it appears the goal-shy striker fits the bill. The deal will re-unite Quayson with his former coach who nurtured him at Sekondi Hasaacas.
The misfiring striker contributed to Ashgold's dismal defence of their league title and spent large swathes of the season rooted to the bench.
The former Kotoko forward is expected to sign the dotted line for the Sharks next week. He will become the second former Ashgold player to switch Obuasi for Elmina after Anthony Yerful.
