Former Bayern Munich player Sinan Kurt has been handed an £18,000 for allegedly sendinganunderage girlnaked pictures of himself.

The promising 20-year-old, who now plays for Bundesliga sideHertha Berlin, has strongly denied all allegations.

According tothe German news outletExpress, Kurt had been messaging a girl before sending her a picture in which he exposes himself. As yet, the age of the girl is unknown.

The parents of the girl discovered the picture, and then filed a complaint.

The accusation was then taken to court, where the verdict reportedly took a matter of hours to sentence the player with an £18,000 fine. This equates to around a month's wages for the German.

Despite the verdict, both Kurt and his lawyer Michael Decker deny outright any wrongdoing.

The report states that Decker said immediately after the court appearance:The punishment was adopted without Sinan Kurt commenting on the accusation.

He denies the allegation and will appeal immediately.

Kurt began his career at Borussia Monchengladbach, where he underwentthe majority of his youth-level development.

He then made the switch to Bayern Munich, but caused ill-feeling in the process due to the fact that he seemed to force the move to the German giants once he discovered that they were interested.

His dream move didn't quite go to plan though, and, after making only one appearance for Bayern, he moved to Hertha Berlin in January of this year.

His current side are sitting in an impressive fourth place in the Bundesliga, only three points of league-leaders Bayern. But, although his team are making considerable gains on the pitch, Kurt is unfortunately making the headlines for all the wrong reasons off it.
