Former Dutch international Ronald De Boer applauds performance of Ghanaian youngster Myron Boadu

Former Netherlands international, Ronald De Boer has applauded the performance of Ghanaian youngster Myron Boadu following his explosive start to the Dutch Eredivisie.

The attacker has been in fine for his AZ Alkmaar side and has already bagged two goals and assisted three times having only featured in four of matches.

He was at his best over the weekend when his side posted an emphatic 2-0 victory over Waalwijk on match day four. That result seemingly propelled them to the summit of the ongoing 2019/2020 league even though it is still a long way to go.

His impressive output has gotten many talking in the Eredivisie with the press linking him to a call-up into the Netherlands national team.

Speaking to FOX Sports on the performance of the Ghanaian, Ronald De Boer praise the performance of the 18-year-old whiles stressing that he has added quality to the AZ Alkmaar team.

"We are not surprised by Boadu, because we thought he was good for his injury. But he shows it every week and today (Sunday) again", De Boer told FOX Sports.

"He really is the way you want to see a striker, with a lot of depth in his game. He is a beautiful player and only eighteen years old."
