BOMBSHELL: Former Ebusua Dwarfs Coach has accused the club's Director of Operations of squandering monies meant for referees

Published on: 16 June 2016

Former coach of Ebusua Dwarfs, J.E Sarpong has accused the Director of Operations at the club, John Ansah of squandering monies given to him to bribe referees of their first round Premier League matches.

Dwarfs who find themselves on 15th position ahead of the second round of the league are currently looking forward to reviving their season after the appointment of University of Cape Coast lecturer, Prosper Nartey.

In an interview with Light FM, Sapong noted that Mr Ansah squanders every money given to him for referees to help them win matches.

This sudden turn of event confirms the perception about Ghanaian clubs bribing of referees to officiate in their favour.

However the management of Dwarfs are yet to comment on the allegation by their former employee.
