Former chairman of the Ghana Football Association Nana Sam Brew-Butler has labelled Andre Ayew as the best current Black Stars player.
According to him, the Swansea City star stands tall among his international teammates in terms of current form and professionalism.
“If I have to single out anybody, it definitely must be Andre Ayew because he is such a brilliant lad. When he got into the team in 2008, he was probably a bit too young and didn’t make much impact," he told Accra-based Class FM
"But for him to have got over all the things that were said about him and become the player he is now is a remarkable achievement.
“Although his dad is arguably the best player the country has seen, you could say his rise to his current level has nothing to do with his dad.
"He is also a very disciplined footballer, in my opinion, and also leads by example on and off the field. He is a model professional.”
