Former Hearts of Oak CEO Mark Noonan appointed new Canadian Premier League Commissioner

Mark Noonan, a former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hearts of Oak has landed a new role in Canada.

Footballghana can report that the ex-Hearts of Oak CEO has been appointed as the new Canadian Premier League Commissioner.

Following his appointment, Mark Noonan has replaced David Clanachan who stepped down as CPL chief in February this year.

Before his appointment in Canada, Mark Noonan worked for years in the USA.

Until recently, he served under MLS Commissioner Don Gaber where he used his expertise to help develop the sport in the country.

In the past, Mark Noonan also worked as Global Chief Commercial Officer for World Surf League.

Over the past years, he has held various positions while working with a number of clubs including Real Salt Lake and New York Metz

The top administrator once had a stint with the Federation of International Basketball Association where his work was also much appreciated.
