Talented Ghana youngster, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has been invited to the camp of the Ghana U23 team for the upcoming clash against Algeria.
Nicknamed the Black Meteors, the side will face off with their counterpart from Algeria later this month in the final round of the qualifiers for the CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
To have a good chance of qualifying ahead of Algeria, Ghana U23 head coach Ibrahim Tanko has handed call-ups to five talented foreign-based players.
One of the players is former Hearts of Oak poster boy Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.
The forward is arriving in Ghana and will fight to start for the Ghana U23 team in the games against Algeria.

Other foreign-based players invited for the clash include FC Nordsjaelland poster boy Ernest Nuamah as well as Sporting Lisbon teenager Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.
