Former Kotoko striker Seidu Bancey Joins Ethiopian Side Arba Minch Kenema FC

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Seidu Bancey has joined Ethiopian top flight side Arba Minch Kenema FC.

The Ghanaian attacker signed a two year deal for the club after joining as a free agent.

The former Black Stars B striker last played for Egyptian side FC Smouha for three seasons.

His days with Kumasi Asante Kotoko saw him win the double with the club and scored the winner in the FA Cup final against Inter Allies in 2014.

Bancey thus become the sixth Ghanaian to sign for an Ethiopian club this season after Kennedy Ashia, Michael Annan, Abdul Latif, Baba Adam, Michael Akuffu.

He was a member of Ghana’s CHAN team that finished second at the 2014 CHAN competition in South Africa.
