Former supporters union chief Kwaku Amponsah known in the footballing circles as K5 has urged the management of Asante Kotoko to be patient with new head coach Maxwell Konadu.

Maxwell Konadu returned as the head coach of the Porcupine Warriors on Monday on a two-year deal and has been charged to win the upcoming Ghana Premier League and qualify to the group stages of the CAF Champions League  which has eluded them for  the past 14 years.

The reds have changed several coaches in the past four years under the Dr Kwame Kyei-led administration and former National Circles chairman Kwaku Amponsah has cautioned the club to be patient with the former Black Stars assistant manager.

“I will advice Dr. Kyei and his Management to give the coach enough time to operate without interference.”
