Former Liverpool Player David James Dismisses Arsenal's Chances of Winning Premier League

Arsenal may be the in-form club at the moment, but former Liverpool and England goalkeeper David James believes the club still don't have enough towin the Premier League.


Speaking toSport Review, James stated: "It's obviously not a very nice thing [to say], especially if you're an Arsenal fan, but I always expect Arsenal to finish second, third or fourth.


He also added: "So it doesn't really matter what happens between the start of the season and the end does it?


They'll have a very good spell and a very bad spell.�


Since their defeat to Liverpool on the opening day, the Gunners have gone on an impressiveundefeated streak, beating the likes of Chelsea and most recently Swansea this past weekend.

Theyhaven't lifted the Premier League trophysince their 'Invincible' season in 2004. They finished secondto Leicesterlast season, leaping over rivals Tottenham during the final stages of the season.


The NorthLondon sidecurrently sit second in the league, behind Manchester City only on goal difference. They face Middlesbrough on Saturday, after a Champions League clash tonight against Ludogorets at the Emirates.
