Former Premier League Striker Full of Praise for Liverpool Forward Sadio Mane

Former Swansea City player Bafetimbi Gomis has recognised the impact Sadio Mane has made at Liverpool since joining from Southampton for £34 million in the summer, according to reports from theLiverpool Echo.


The French forward believes Mane is one of the best players in the Premier League, acknowledgingthe Senegal international's desire to score goals.

Many football pundits believed Reds boss Jurgen Klopp overpaid for Mane but the 24-year-old's performances have proved that fee may prove to be a bargain in today's market.


The pacy winger has been in fine form this season, netting four league goals in eight appearances as well as providingtwo assists. Mane has formed a strong partnership with Roberto Firmino and Phillipe Coutinho in attack for Liverpool, the trio's ability to interchange positions often causing problems for opposing players.
