Former Rangers winger Neil McCann has has been left 'raging' at how Nir Bitton and Jeremie Frimpong were for standing with their hands on their hips during a penalty.

The pair were in action for the defending Scottish Premier League champions as they mounted a comeback to draw 2-2 with Hibs on Saturday.

However, they failed to take action when Hibees star Jamie Murphy scored on the rebound after Kevin Nisbet's penalty was initially saved.

And speaking on BBC's Sportscene highlights former Dundee boss McCann hit out at Bitton and Frimpong.

"Neil Lennon's talking about the lack of hunger and laziness," he said.

"Frimpong and Bitton, when the penalty has been struck, are still standing there with their hands on their hips.

"That is criminal.

"You have to compliment Murphy who follows in, he's on the front foot and Ajer is trying to recover.

"Both Bain and Ajer are furious, and quite rightly so. You can't get done like that.

"That is unacceptable defending from Frimpong and Bitton.
