Former Tema Youth forward Frank Twum passes away in Bangladesh

Ghanaian international Frank Twum Ntini has sadly passed away in Bangladesh after battling a short illness.

It can be recalled that the former Tema Youth attacker and his compatriot Richard Dzifa Appiae were apprehended in the country earlier this year in January after they were found with 7,500 pieces of Yaba tablets.

Subsequently, they were arraigned before court and found guilty of possessing the Yaba tablet which is known to contain a mixture of methamphetamine and caffeine.

Earlier this week, Frank Twum Ntini who was playing for Chittagong Abahani Limited FC in Bangladesh fell sick and was rushed from prison to the hospital to receive medical attention.

Sadly he could not recover as he passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020.

In Ghana, he will be remembered for his time with giants Hearts of Oak as well as Berekum Chelsea.
