Former Torino manager Moreno Longo delighted with contribution to Emmanuel Gyasi’s career

Former Torino manager, Moreno Longo says he is happy to have contributed to the career of Spezia Calcio winger Emmanuel Gyasi.

The Italy-born forward who is of Ghanaian descent worked under the coach during his time at the youth team of Torino.

Helping Emmanuel Gyasi develop into a fine player, coach Moreno Longo says he takes delight watching the attacker excel in the Italian Serie A with Spezia Calcio.

“I believe that he has to keep that jersey for him. Personally, I am happy to have been part of his journey, but every step forward was made possible by his availability as a boy and an athlete,” the gaffer said in a recent interview.

Coach Moreno added, “We coaches have the right and the duty to try to improve these players, but then you have to find fertile ground. In that, Gyasi is someone who gives himself at 360 degrees. It is easy to work with such a player.”

Emmanuel Gyasi, 27, continues to improve and has recently noted that he desires to help Spezia Calcio stay in the Italian Serie A beyond this season.
