Forward Emmanuel Gyasi on target for Spezia in massive win against Cosenza

Ghanaian striker, Emmanuel Gyasi was on target on Friday night to help his Spezia Calcio side to post a massive 5-1 win against Cosenza in the Italian Serie B.

With teams in the Division looking for a strong finish to the season, the two clubs clashed at the Stadio Alberto Picco for Matchday 33 encounter

A good start to the game saw Spezia Calcio taking the lead after just 6 minutes of play when Andrey Galabinov found the back of the net.

Soon, Emmanuel Gyasi will register his name on the scoresheet to double the lead for the home team and to send the side into the break in a comfortable lead as well.

In the first 10 minutes of the second half, Giuseppe Mastinu scored twice to give Spezia a 4-0 lead before Mirko Bruccini netted a consolation goal from Cosenza on the 63rd minute.

Three minutes later, the in-form Emmanuel Gyasi assisted M'bala Nzola to score to wrap up the big win for the host.

This season, the Ghanaian forward has played 29 games and has 8 goals on top of 5 assists.

His exploits have been key for Spezia as they now sit 4th on the Serie B standings. They have a chance of securing promotion to the Italian top-flight but will need to show good form in the five remaining games.
