Four Ghana Premier League clubs are chasing the signature of former Kotoko striker Abass Mohammed, Footballghana.com understands.
Mohammed, who mutually terminated his contract with Asante Kotoko last week after battling with injuries in his two seasons stint with the club is attracting interest from AshantiGold SC, Medeama SC, Dreams FC and Berekum Chelsea.
The striker had an impressive debut in the CAF Confederation Cup with Tarkwa-based Medeama SC last three seasons but it looks as though he could not live up to the huge expectations before joining the Reds due to persistent injury.
However, because of his huge prospects some Premier League sides want to sign him to augment their striking department.
Berekum Chelsea and Dreams FC are leading the race to sign the young striker.
