The junior brother of Francis Amuzu, Joseph Amuzu has broken through at KV Mechelen after excelling in the junior team.

The big brother, Francis Amuzu has been at RSC Anderlecht for a long time where he has risen through the ranks to become a key member of the first team.

It now appears his junior brother Joseph Amuzu is following in the same direction to become a professional.

According to Dennis Henderickx who is youth coordinator of KV Mechelen, Joseph Amuzu has grown from strength to strength in the last few years.

“Jojo is a boy who has always come to train with a big smile over the years. Because he has grown physically a bit later, he was less noticeable at a younger age than his brother Francis,” Dennis Henderickx told GvA.

He added, “He has gained a lot of strength in the last year. He has become a real man. Compared to his brother, Jojo is a little less explosive in the first meters, but on the other hand I think he is more versatile.

“Francis is more of a pure winger, while Jojo He can also be played as a second striker. He has something very unpredictable about his game. Sometimes he does things that we say 'wow', so I am very sure that he has all the qualities to break through to the first team in the long run.”

Joseph Amuzu just like his brother is eligible to represent Ghana as well as Belgium.
