In an interview with Eurosport, Ribery said:"In Europe, Bayern is my last club - 100 per cent.Do I need a different experience or idea? If so, only just for fun, not like now at Bayern.

"Maybe I'll quit after my time at Bayern; maybe I will play somewhere else for one more year. How do they say in Munich? 'Schau'n mer mal' ['We'll see']. We'll see how this season goes and then the one after that. "

Ribery moved to Munich in 2007, from Ligue 1 side Marseille. In his nine years at the Allianz Arena the former French international has picked up 18 trophies, including six Bundesliga titles and a Champions League.

The skilful winger retired from international football in 2014, following an injury that kept him out of the World Cup in Brazil and has solely focused on Bayern since then.

His new deal takes him up until the end of next season and although Ribery has said he won't play for another club in Europe he hasn't ruled out extending his time in Germany.

The 33-year-old also hasn't shown any indication to whether he will continue playing in another continent. With Ribery being 35 when his new deal ends many predict the player to retire, however Ribery might have other plans.
