Hearts of Oak Board Member Mr. Frank Nelson has heaped praise on interim coach Edward Odoom after recording some impressive results in the on-going Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians made a poor start to the league season, however, they seem to have recovered in their last couple of games.
Hearts produced a spirited performance to beat Liberty Professionals 2-1 at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman last Sunday on match day five.
Their recent form has earned praises from lot of Ghanaians including their Board Member, who believes the team is playing better under the coach Edward Odoom than they did under former coach Kim Grant.
"Coach Edward Odoom looking at the work he is doing, he has played 4 matches, won one, drawn one losing two, it’s a great result for him, it’s not to say Kim Grant can’t do the same thing but if you check the first game in the Normalization games we played now you can see that the type of game Odoom is playing now, in my opinion there is a lot of difference in it", Mr. Nelson told FOX FM.
"I see that Odoom makes the boys play pressing football, he has a relationship with the boys so the boys work for him, they want to see the coach winning because they know he was a head coach in the junior team and has been brought in to be acting head coach, so the boys are playing well."
Hearts of Oak will welcome arch-rivals Asante Kotoko to the Accra Sports stadium on Sunday in their next league encounter.
