As the most glamorous clubs in Ghana, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko SC face off in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, the two coaches for either side are in for a third meeting.

Frank Nuttall and Zdravko Logarusic met twice when working in Kenya for the fiercest rivals Gor Mahia FC and AFC Leopards respectively.

Their first meeting was 11th April, 2015 where they shared the spoils with a 1-1 scoreline in the Mashemeji or Nairobi Derby, the biggest fixture in Kenyan football.

The second meeting of the two coaches was 22nd August, 2015.

The match was called off after AFC Leopards fans caused troubles after a penalty was awarded to bitterest opponents Gor Mahia FC in 65th minute.

Scoreline was 0-0 before the penalty.

The Kenyan Premier League then awarded the points to Gor Mahia FC following a ruling which led them to a third title in a row.

Logarusic never lost a derby when coaching in Kenya at Gor Mahia or AFC Leopards and Nutall despite winning two league titles with one unbeaten, never won any derby match.

Logarusic was named Kenyan Premier League best coach in 2012 even though he couldn't win the ultimate.

Nuttall was the best coach in the Kenyan Premier League 2015 after winning it with an unbeaten record.
