Frederick Moore backed to succeed as Hearts of Oak MD by ex-chairman Harry Zakour

Former Hearts of Oak chairman, Harry Zakour, has heaped praises of current managing director of the club, Frederick Moore for his vision.

Mr Moore in his latest engagement with the media reiterated his desire to make teh club one of the best on the continent of Africa.

The Pobiman project which was left unattended after 10 years is currently under construction.

And according to Harry Zakour, Mr Moore has the vision to make the club against.

He called on the supporters to offer their support.

"The current Hearts Of Oak M.D has dreams for the club and I pray he gets supports from all aspects of the club," he told Asempa FM.

"Everything Frederick Moore has stated with regards to the Pobiman project is achievable."

"There are good people on the board of Hearts Of Oak who are also capable of achieving better things for the club."

He also called on government to cushion clubs when football resume fully due to the impact of Covid-19.

Domestic football came to a standstill in mid-March following the outbreak of the virus but was finally truncated on June 30.

"Government should support clubs when football returns because of the impact of COVID19 on the game," he added.

Meanwhile, the 2020/21 football season will return on October and will be played in two zones.
