Fortuna Düsseldorf manager Friedhelm Funkel has hailed Ghanaian youngster Kelvin Ofori after scoring on his competitive debut for the club in the DFB-Pokal.
Ofori, who signed his first professional contract in the summer scored in their 3-1 win over Villigen.
"This is an interesting and valuable constellation," said Funkel. "And the way it looks, it brings us more advantages than disadvantages," he added.
The 18-year-old arrived in Germany for trials during the club's pre-season and impressed the technical handlers of the club, earning him a three-year deal.
He was one of the standout players in pre-season and says his move to the Bundesliga is a dream come true.
"For me, a dream came true," Ofori said after joining Fortuna. "I am very happy that I have signed with a fantastic club like Fortuna Dusseldorf."
